Starting an argument in this town is easy, just say you prefer one Slopper to another and proceed with caution. As contentious as this vote can be, this year’s Best Slopper goes, once again, to Gray’s Coors Tavern. Take an open-faced burger, smother it in green or red chili (or both) and top it with some fresh onion and viola! A slopper is born. This Pueblo tradition is best served with a cold beverage and plenty of napkins.
