Best Pueblo Tradition
Gold: The Bell Game
Dutch Clark Stadium 1001 W. Abriendo Ave.
In 1892, two high schools played a game of football with a bell going to the winner. What they didn’t know at the time is they were starting one of the oldest and most well-known high school football rivalries to ever exist. This Pueblo tradition has made friends and family members archrivals for that one Friday night in September. You’re either a Wildcat or a Bulldog, red or blue, a champ or an almost ran. With more than 10,000 screaming fans, kids lucky enough to play this event remember it forever.
