The wind and snow storms of the past year might have taken out dozens of trees but it didn’t do anything to diminish this classic old track. The venerable course which hosts the City Championship, the Memorial Two Man, and the Italian Open has undergone many changes, including name, layout, and number of holes, one thing hasn’t changed and that’s the special place it holds in the collective heart of Pueblo. It’s no wonder that this course is the favorite place to play golf as its 27 holes are always well maintained, the food at the restaurant is some of the best in the city, and head pro Randy Bregar is friendly and knowledgeable. With a large practice facility and newly renovated patio area, Elmwood will continue being a Pueblo favorite.
