For a rowdy, rocking, and one-of-a-kind time, Puebloans love Bands in the Backyard. For three years, thousands have flocked to the St. Charles Mesa for the event. Event organizer, Tommy Giodone, welcomes folks from across the nation to his “backyard” for three days of music and fun. The area is packed with food booths, drink stands and tailgating. It has headlined popular country and rock ‘n’ roll names including Gary Allen, Jake Owen, Montgomery Gentry, and .38 Special.  In 2016, concert goers can look forward to Kid Rock as one of the performers, with more acts to be announced throughout the year. Pueblo’s favorite concert is ever-growing and appeals to all ages and musical tastes.
