Gold: The Blocks

Located near the Mesa Junction, The Blocks is Pueblo’s most eclectic neighborhood. It is among some of the city’s oldest neighborhoods, with homes more than 100 years old, overlooking the Arkansas River. Brightly painted homes featuring Victorian architecture and various yard art displays color this neighborhood uniquely. The neighborhood was its own municipality until 1886, and has been included in a local study regarding the context of Southern Pueblo history.
