The St. Charles Mesa farm that has been producing vegetables since1890 (Rocco and Rovina DiSanti) also is the favorite place for peopleto buy their produce. DiSanti Farms is now five generations old and is operated by Jim DiSanti along with three of four children, Justin and Dominic DiSanti and sister Sara Genova. The market usually opens in May and continues its sales through Halloween, daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The main produce are Pueblo chile and pumpkins. “We always donate our pumpkins to schools that have kindergarten and first grade who take
field trips to learn how things are grown,” Rose Ann DiSanti said.
