This striking sculpture is the gateway feature into Downtown. Designed by Pueblo artists Tom and Jean Latka, the sculpture represents the headwaters of the Arkansas River and the natural resource that is so vital to our community. During the heat of the summer, its cascading waterfalls draw children who scurry around the dramatic red pillars and stand underneath as the water runs over glittering blue tiles and down onto them. Watching the children makes it almost seem like they are playing in an actual river.
