Gold: Pueblo Christmas Parade of Lights

The Pueblo Christmas Parade of Lights is a 23-year holiday tradition. It is held on the Saturday following Thanksgiving. The parade brings an estimated 40,000 people into the center of town to watch approximately 100 entries featuring colorfully lighted floats, marching bands with lights, vehicles, animals, families, and school children. Parade officials estimate 1,500 children participate in the parade each year.
