FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q. What is the Best of Pueblo?
A. It is a reader poll designed to let you share all the wonderful things you like about living here, from your favorite burger joint and pizza place, to the best street party and spot to take the kids on a Saturday afternoon. It looks at the community we love to live, work and play in.

Q. How does it work?
A. You log onto www.bestofpueblo.com and vote for your favorite local people, businesses, and places day after day until online voting closes on Sunday, July 29, 2012. Mail-in paper ballots must be postmarked by Friday, July 27, 2012 to accommodate manual entry time.

Q. How many times may I vote?
A. You may vote as many times as you like. Be sure to encourage your customers to stuff the ballot box in your favor. We strongly encourage on-line voting, but in-paper ballots will be available as well.

Q. Who determines the winners?
A. The Pueblo Chieftain staff will determine the winners by counting valid reader votes. The candidates with the most votes win.

Q. Just what are the geographical boundaries for Best of Pueblo?
A. For the purposes of this contest, the Best of Pueblo is limited to inside Pueblo County. This means if your area business is in Pueblo West, out east on the Mesa, in Beulah, Rye or anywhere inside the county line, you are eligible. (Except for best day trip category)

Q. May I vote for nominees outside of Pueblo County?
A. No. The contest is called Best of Pueblo because we want to uncover and celebrate all the great people, places and things Pueblo County has to offer. Votes for nominees with addresses outside of Pueblo County will be disqualified. (Except best day trip category)

Q. Whom should I vote for?
A. That is up to you and your friends. Just keep it in Pueblo County and remember to keep it clean and respectful, please.
